The recent ‘Transcend India 2024’ conclave, organized by NASSCOM FAYA:80 at Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram, brought together experts from multinational companies and government agencies to discuss the vast potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in India. According to Anoop Ambika, CEO of Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), the users of Large Language Model (LLM) will transform their careers and the generation of data. He emphasized that a large number of jobs and skills are emerging around using AI models developed by big corporates, which will open up new opportunities.

Jibu Elias, Mozilla Responsible Computing Fellow, stressed the importance of ensuring that the next generation of students are not just cheap tech laborers but equipped with abundant skills combined with imagination and talent.

Sunny Gupta, Senior Director, Viacom 18 & JioCinema, pointed out the need for having strong projects for techies to prove their mettle. Jayasankar Prasad, director, DC School of Management and Technology, moderated the session.
